Spectators or anyone not booked on the walks are not allowed to use the carpark .

*We cannot wait for people who arrive late.*

We do not allow people to share an alpaca due to their timid nature they form a bond with their walker and rely on them for their confidence, changing walker will unsettle them.

* Numbers are restricted and unexpected people   WILL NOT   be able to accompany you on the walk.*

For Health and Safety requirements , we need visitor / staff ratios to be adequate for the numbers attending .

Children

Minimum age is 6 years old.  No babies carried or in slings are allowed on the walk. No children under 6yrs old can take part in the walks .

Children must be well behaved and calm at all times while on the farm, alpacas are very timid and loud noises or sudden movement will frighten them.

The Walk

Participants must be able to walk unaided and have good balance, the terrain is very uneven and can be slippery. No babies carried or in slings are allowed on the walk

The walk takes approx. 50 min, the length of time is dependent on the speed the Alpacas. Following a rough track through woodland with views out to the sea and Isle of Wight when visibility is clear.

On arrival at the view point you will be given treats for your alpaca (a good chance to take photographs) .We then retrace our steps back to Dunreyth.

On arrival back at the farm your alpaca will be released back into the field and you will then be invited to see how we start the fleece processing and our shop with finished garments.
