Welcome to Dunreyth Alpacas

Dunreyth Alpacas is a small business owned by a husband and wife team near Chichester on the side of the South Downs.

Peta and Bruce live in an idyllic setting on the side of the South Downs in West Sussex. They currently run their herd of Alpacas on 13 acres of mixed grass and woodland.

They breed friendly Alpacas in a variety of colours for Fibre (Unique Hand knitted garments), selling on and of course the Walking experience.

They are looking forward to another good year of many people visiting them to walk with the Alpacas, Alfie and Baron even have their own fan clubs!!

The 13 cria born last summer are doing well and some will be invited to become walking partners and others will be sold on.

They still have for sale, females, wethers, non breeding males and a stunning proven stud male.

Most females reduced to £2000 with free mating.

All males are halter trained.

Starter herds are a speciality with full back up and training included in the price.

All females bought from Dunreyth can have a free mating with any of our stud males.

New Services 2012

Do you want to own an Alpaca but do not have enough land?
Buy from us and let us look after it for you. (Details on request).

For a while now they have been training their young alpacas to walk to hand; thus enabling people to walk these young alpacas.

For £20 per alpaca you can have an hour long walk and then a walk around the property to see the other alpacas, an educational chat and a visit to our shop.

Pub Walk

The Barley Mow in Walderton has allowed us to take our Alpacas for a drink during our walks so if you would like to include a 20 minute stop at a beautiful old country pub for a quick drink please let us know. This new adventure would cost £40 per Alpaca due to extra distance and time but is highly recommended.

See "Walking" page for pictures of alpacas being walked "in hand".

A non - refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking.

A minimum of two alpacas must be booked per walk.

(Please ring or e-mail to book your walk)

Pub Walks postponed for the winter unless already booked / or have a voucher.

The First Dunreyth Hen Party and Camping group

We had a party of 12 ladies for an alternative Hen Party. They had a walk with our alpacas, a party at The Barley Mow and camped overnight. A great time was had by all and a pleasure for the hosts Peta & Bruce.

Staying overnight is an option when booking a party with us.
Click here for photos of the event.

If you wish to adopt an alpaca, or to buy vouchers, please check our adoption page.
