Welcome to Dunreyth Alpacas

It All Started As A Dream

Peta and Bruce live in an idyllic setting . They are located 7 miles north of Chichester on the side of the South Downs in glorious West Sussex. They currently have some 13 acres on mixed grassland and woodland and it is here that they have started their small herd of alpaca called Dunreyth Alpacas and currently numbering 40. The latest cria born - yet to be named- was a little boy, born to Chloe on 20th June 2010.

A selection of friendly well handled Alpacas ready to be sold now, please come and view our Alpacas and choose from our wide variety of Pregnant females and Friendly boys.

Starter herd of two pregnant females and a neutered male, or 3 pregnant females can be arranged for you. The neutered males can be as Family pets, Flock guards or something to enhance your property. We can also train them to walk with you on a lead rein.

Please contact us for details of costs.

Herd Reduction due to expected arrivals of cria this summer.

Please see the "Alpacas for Sale" page for more details.

For a while now they have been training their young alpacas to walk to hand; thus enabling people to walk these young alpacas.

For £20 per alpaca you can have an hour long walk and then a walk around the property to see the other alpacas, an educational chat and a visit to our shop.

New - Our local pub

The Barley Mow in Walderton has allowed us to take our Alpacas for a drink during our walks so if you would like to include a 20 minute stop at a beautiful old country pub for a quick drink please let us know. This new adventure would cost £30 per Alpaca due to extra distance and time but is highly recommended.

Also our new woodland walk a "short obstacle walk "details on request

See "Walking" page for pictures of alpacas being walked "in hand".

(Please ring or e-mail to book your walk or visit)

The First Dunreyth Hen Party and Camping group

We had a party of 12 ladies for an alternative Hen Party. They had a walk with our alpacas, a party at The Barley Mow and camped overnight. A great time was had by all and a pleasure for the hosts Peta & Bruce.

Staying overnight is an option when booking a party with us.
